 this mother's day, joel and i wanted to show our moms how much we love and appreciate them. they are each so special to us and we wouldn't be who we are today without their constant love and support. happy mother's day.

snowflakes + family

this past weekend we got to spend some much needed family time with joel's sister & her kids. we haven't seen them in over two years! we also witnessed our first snowfall of the winter season which made it extra special. so thankful for the moments we got to share with them.

lincoln's birth story.

i am SO excited to share this post with you all! my husband did an amazing job putting together a little video to help us remember lincoln's arrival. it was a long day of labor & our emotions were at an all time high but the end result was nothing short of miraculous. so thankful for our precious gift...

nursery sneak peek!

this past weekend, we finally tackled the nursery furniture! of course, the time lapse you just saw makes it seem like it was a piece of cake but this project actually took several grueling hours. (and trust us, it was pretty grueling)- my husband is a rockstar for spending so much time carefully putting together each part. seriously, you guys. he's the best! this post is the start of what we're hoping will be a series of small videos documenting our time prepping for lincoln's arrival. we'll share our thoughts on parenthood and what we're most excited/nervous about so make sure to check in from time to time to see what we're up to! oh and yes, more to come soon on the nursery...
